Transformational Leadership on Employee Productivity, Innovation, and Business Outcomes Within Sme’s Operating in Osogbo Metropolis.

Abstract
This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Osogbo Metropolis, Nigeria. SMEs are vital to economic growth but often face challenges such as limited resources and managerial capacity. Using a survey design, data were collected from 404 respondents through a structured questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS, applying both descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings show that transformational leadership, through inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, and idealized influence positively affects employee productivity, innovation, and overall business outcomes. The study concludes that embracing transformational leadership can enhance SME competitiveness and sustainability in Osogbo. The research contributes to leadership literature and offers practical insights for SME practitioners, policymakers, and development agencies. .
