Abstract
ABSTRACT ABSTRACTThis research is on the Historical origin and development of Epe Town up to 2022. The research methodology employed for this study was the historical approach which relied on primary and secondary source materials. Primary source included the oral information collected through interview conducted by the research students. Secondary source materials are books. long essay and internet source consulted by the research students. The books were consulted at different library such as college of Humanities library and Tai Solarin University of Education library, Ijagun. This study is divided into five chapters, chapter one covers the general introduction, chapter two discusses the traditional origin of Epe town, chapter three explain the land and the people of Epe town, chapter three discusses the cultural life and customs of the people, chapter four discuss change and continuity in Epe town, while chapter five ended with conclusion. Undoubtedly, Epe town has witnessed tremendous developments as a result of the modernization and those developments covered her socio-political and economic sphere
