Impact of Risk Management on Organization Productivity (a Case Study of Gt Bank Offa Kwara State)

This study investigates the impact of risk management on organization productivity, using GTBank
as the case study. The objectives of the study were aimed at understanding of risk management,
knowing the potency of risk identification, risk assessment and risk mitigation with it impact on
organizational productivity. Simple random sampling was used to select 22 respondents. The
research instruments majorly used included a set of questionnaires for respondents. The findings
of this study uses regression analysis showing that risk identification, risk assessment and risk
mitigation as an element of risk management has a positive significant relationship with
organizational productivity. The findings established strong positive relationship between the
three variables. The study concluded that the organization assesses its risks by using quantitative
and qualitative methods. The study recommended that a method for identifying, assessing and
mitigating the key business risks in Guaranty Trust Bank Offa to be made available to all
employees.
