Abstract
The study aimed to assess the isolation and identification of bacteria from some car knobs in school of business studies, Auchi Polytechnic. Car door handles, as frequently touched surfaces, can harbor various microorganisms, potentially serving as vectors for the transmission of infectious agents. A total of ten car door handles were sampled for microbiological analysis. Sterile swabs moistened with sterile saline were used to collect samples from each car door handle. The samples were then transported to the microbiology laboratory for immediate processing.
