Abstract
This study investigates the occupational skills required by prospective graduates for effective participation in fish farming production within the aquaculture industry in Ekiti State. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to aquaculture practitioners and agricultural students. Results revealed that technical, managerial, and marketing skills are vital for successful fish farming. However, most graduates lack adequate practical experience. The study recommends integrating hands-on aquaculture training into tertiary education and strengthening collaboration between universities and the fish farming industry.
