Abstract
This undergraduate project investigates the design and simulation of a 5G mobile network,
evaluating its performance and exploring potential applications across various industries. Using
NS-3, a simulation environment, the project achieves a comprehensive performance evaluation,
considering key metrics such as data transfer rates, latency, connectivity, packet loss, and
network throughput. The results demonstrate excellent network performance, meeting the
requirements of diverse industries. The project identifies transformative applications and use
cases in healthcare, education, transportation, and beyond, showcasing 5G's potential to
revolutionize industries and improve lives. This project contributes to the ongoing development
of 5G technology, providing valuable insights for stakeholders and highlighting the need for
security and privacy awareness. The findings and recommendations of this project pave the way
for future research and the advancement of 5G technology.
