Samples used during the analysis were poultry feeds and droppings collected from two, different locations (Ewu and Auchi). The samples were cultured using Nutrient agar, Salonella shigella agar (SSA) und Eosin methylene blue agar (EMB) using standard analytical methods. This study revealed bacteria count in the poultry leeds within the range of Logio4.40/gto Logr5.58/g. The morphological and biochemical characterization of the solates chcountered was determined, All four (4) livestock feeds (Poultry) samples analyzed in this study yielded isolates of Salmonella, This rescarch provides relevant information on the incidence and contamination of poultry feed by Salmonella, The selected poulto feed were round to be contaminated with aerobic bacterin such as Salmonello, Escherichia coil, and the kes. From this study, Salmonelly was found to have the highest incidence compared to oiher organisms on the feed (poultry) and droppings, Thereforo, precuutionary mcasures shouid be put place with enlightenment of poultry farmers on ways of prevention of feed contamination to educe the potential hazards and ricks involved in tansferring Sammella to humans.
