Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project work is designed to cover the “Effect of Product Exhibition on Sales Turnover in a Manufacturing Company”, a case study of Nigeria Brewery Plc, Ibadan. This was carried out using primary and secondary data. The analytical method that was used was descriptive and inferential methods. The descriptive method involves the use of table, percentage and charts etc. the inferential method includes such statistical method like chi-square etc. The results showed that there company’s profitability depends on product exhibition. Also, the study clearly indicated that there is significant relationship between product exhibition and sales turnover. Based on the usefulness of product exhibition, it is imperative that every manufacturing organization should commit much resource to product exhibition and other promotional programme. It was therefore recommended that the company should not see product exhibition as a costly exercise but should see the exhibition as “a child of necessity”. Also, management of every organization should provide resources financial, human and materials needed to carry out the exhibition exercise.
