Abstract
The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) in smart homes has revolutionized home automation, enhancing convenience, security, and energy efficiency. However, traditional power sources pose reliability and sustainability challenges, necessitating alternative energy solutions. This project explores the implementation of a solar inverter system to power an IoT-enabled smart home, ensuring uninterrupted and eco-friendly energy supply. The study focuses on designing an optimized solar power system that efficiently meets the energy demands of smart appliances and IoT devices while incorporating battery storage for reliability. Key considerations include solar panel efficiency, inverter capacity, energy management strategies, and real-time monitoring via IoT-based analytics. The project aims to demonstrate the feasibility of integrating renewable energy with smart home technologies to promote sustainable living, reduce grid dependency, and enhance energy resilience. The experimental result validate the effectiveness of the system in providing a stable and efficient power supply for a fully automated smart home.
