The population of the study comprised of selected small scale enterpriseers from various town in Ekiti state . A total of 300 copies of questionnaire were disseminated to the respondents of the study and they were all filled and returned and also relevant for the study. The data were collated and analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), percentages and frequencies tables were used to for the descriptive aspects. To test the hypotheses correlation matrix model was adopted The method of data analysis to be used specifically for this study is principal component analysis.. The research findings showed that all the aspect of intrinsic motivational packages employee recognition, training and development opportunity, employee appreciation and employee promotion have a significant effect on workers turnover. The KMO is less than .50 indicating insufficient or inadequate items for each factor. This is significant (less than .05), indicating that the correlation matrix is significantly different from an identity matrix, in which correlations between variables are all zero. The Bartlett test is significant (p < .001), which is good and indicates that the correlations are not near zero. Hence, based on findings, it is recommended it is a process of giving employees a certain status within the organization and public expression of appreciation given by a group to individuals who undertake desired behaviours. Owners of small scale enterprises should make employee recognition a constant habit so as to encourage their employee in turning over more for work.
