Abstract
This study investigated assessment of tailoring business in meeting customer’s satisfaction in Bayero university Kano campuses (new and old site). four objectives, four research questions were formulated. The study adopted survey research design. the population of the study was twenty respondents and convenient sampling technique was used. one sets of data collection instruments were used namely: assessment of tailoring business in meeting customer’s satisfaction questionnaire frequency distribution and percent, was used in the analysis of data. first findings revealed that there is high quality of tailoring services provided in Bayero university kano campuses. The study also finds out that there is high level of customer satisfaction with tailoring services in BUK campuses. The third findings of this study revealed that there are a lot of challenges faced by tailoring businesses in meeting customer expectations. and last finding of the study revealed that contributions of tailoring businesses to the local economy within the university environment was paramount. The study recommends that skill development and training – tailors should undergo training programs to enhance their skills, particularly in fashion design, stitching quality, and modern tailoring techniques. The university or relevant organizations could facilitate such training sessions.
