Development of an Online Platform for Buying and Selling of Agricultural Products

Abstract
ABSTRACT The business-to-consumer aspect of electronic commerce (e-commerce) is the most visible business use of the World Wide Web. The primary goal of an online platform is to buy and sell products and services online. This project deals with developing an online platform for buying and selling of agricultural products. It provides the consumers with a catalog of different agricultural products available for purchase, and also provide farmers with the opportunity to showcase their farm produce to consumers. It aim to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers by providing a direct marketplace for fresh produce. The platform will carter to farmers, individuals consumers, and retailers, allowing them to connect and complete transaction in a user-friendly environment. Key features of the platform includes categorized listing , search and filtering options, user account management for buyers and sellers, secure payment integration. By facilitating direct transactions, the platform seeks to empower farmers with fair pricing, reduce supply chain costs, and enhance access to fresh agricultural product for consumers.
