Design and Xonstruction of Solar Panel Using Old Cd Plates

Abstract
Blu-ray (not Blue-ray) also known as Blu-ray Disc (BD), is the name of a new optical disc format jointly developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA), a group of the world's leading consumer electronics. The format was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. During the investigation of the construction of solar panel, it was observed that, the Blu-ray compact disc contained two layers, first layer is the plastic covering the silicon which the semiconductor, while the second layer is the silicon. It was observed while checking different discs one after the other. The voltage for a single disc was 0.06volts. And the total voltage produced from the Blu-ray compact disc was 0.52volts. It is extremely low to be connected to a load or charge controller. The amount of voltage for a solar cell that a charge controller can carry, is 12volt or 24volts.
