The Impact of Drug Abuse on Academic Performance in Public Secondary Schools in Dutse (a Case Study of Dutse L.g.a)

Abstract
The need for a new approach to conflict resolution has become central focus of the government, this study examine the impact of drug abuse on academic performance in public secondary school in Dutse while the objective of the study are to examine the use of impact of drug abuse on academic performance in public secondary School on Dutse also examine how social work can be used for impact of drug abuse. And identify the challenges of social work in impact of drug abuse. To carry out this research work, in this study research design used in this project work is the survey design. Where data were sought from preventative of the sampled population. Few of the respondents said yes that there is a functional peace education and impact of drug abuse in Dutse L.G.A. While majority of the respondents said no that there is no functional peace education and impact drug abuse program in Dutse L.G.A. Also majority of the respondents said no that there is no peace programs in Secondary School organized by Social Workers.
