Abstract
ABSTRACT A survey was conducted to determine the prevalence studies and intensity of Gastrointestinalparasite affecting camels in semi-Arid region of Borno state, Nigeria, A total of 150 camels wereexamined,of which 123 (82%) were infected. The common species of oocysts of parasites werefound, strongylus 75 (50%),fasciola 16 (13%), Trichuris 23(15%), Monezia-6 (4%) with theleast Strongyloides 3 (2%). Prevalence studies base on the age of the camels examined showedthat the group of camels>3years show the prevalence of 82(85.4%)and
