Abstract
The limitation of traditional crime reporting method includes limited accessibility, privacy concerns and inefficiency in communication, hence the need for a more efficient digital system. The Hisbah Crime Reporting System is a digital platform designed to enhance crime management and law enforcement efficiency under the Hisbah agency. Agile model was used to model the entire system, requirements were represented using use case diagrams. The design also includes ER diagrams for database, class, sequence and activity diagrams. The web based application was implemented using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (frontend), PHP (backend) and MYSQL (database). This system provides a streamlined approach for reporting crimes, tracking cases, and managing law enforcement activities while ensuring adherence to Islamic legal principles. The system enables citizens to report crimes anonymously or directly, offering a secure and accessible communication channel between the public and law enforcement officials. By leveraging technology, the Hisbah Crime Reporting System aims to improve public safety, reduce crime rates, and promote a more efficient and just law enforcement process.
