Abstract

This project present, design and implementation of online examination system for university, Osun State University as case study. Online examination system for university is a web-based examination system where examination is taken online i.e through the internet using computer system. The aim of this application is to meet student requirements where they are expected to take their examination online through internet or intranet. The examination is one of the most broadly used strategies for assessing learning and capacity of a student. The utilization of computer based test system can enhance the productivity and gainfulness of scholarly establishments as it diminishes the cost of stationeries and work associated with conducting examination manually. This by implication can reduce the cost of buying examination materials (papers, printers, turners etc) and students can have their results immediately after the examination. An Online Examination Systems (OESs) was designed and implemented to diminish the delay of student's examination result. The programming language to implement this project is PHP and MYSQL for database because it is efficiency
