Abstract
The rise of the Internet of Things (loT) has revolutionized various industries, with home monitoring and surveillance systems being one of the key areas of impact. Traditional home security systems often involved wired setups and limited functionalities, such as static video feeds and basic alarm systems. These older systems were often costly, cumbersome, and difficult to expand or modify based on individual security needs (Smith & Doe, 2020). However, with the introduction of loT, home surveillance has evolved to incorporate wireless, interconnected devices that provide real-time monitoring, automation, and enhanced security features.
