Abstract
This study examines the impact of computer technology on the organizational performance of accounting firms in Ekiti State. Using the Technology Acceptance Theory as its framework, the research evaluates how computer adoption enhances efficiency, service delivery, and financial reporting accuracy. The study employed a survey research design with questionnaires distributed to fifty respondents across five leading accounting firms in Ado-Ekiti. Data were analyzed using SPSS through descriptive statistics. Findings reveal that computer technology significantly improves productivity, accuracy, and decision-making in accounting operations. However, challenges such as high acquisition and maintenance costs, limited technical expertise, and cybersecurity threats hinder optimal utilization. The study concludes that integrating computer technology into accounting practice enhances performance and competitiveness. It recommends continuous professional training, improved cybersecurity, and better infrastructure to maximize the benefits of computer technology in accounting organizations
