Abstract

This research work focused on "Analyzing the Level of Awareness of Osun State Government Policies among Students of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree". The study seeks to examine whether the government play a significant role in uplifting the Educational system in Osun State. Furthermore it seeks to examine the rate at which government respond to the needs of students of Osun State. Survey method was adopted through the use of questionnaire to carry out the research. 130 copies of questionnaire were administered to the respondents and 145 copies were returned. Findings revealed that majority of the respondents agreed that the Osun State government policies have helped students of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. Also, the respondents agreed that the media assists in promoting government policies in Osun State. It was recommended among others that the media at all times should present programmes that will uplift the standard of education to the students of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
