The design of the study is descriptive survey while the population of the study consist of all the 1180 senior secondary class two (SSII) students in the twenty-five(25) secondary schools in Udi Local Government Areas The sample size for the study comprised of one hundred and eighteen(118) SSII students’ respondents which represents the twenty percent (10%) of the entire population of SSII students. An instrument titled “Utilization and Availability of School Plants for Quality Delivery Questionnaire (UASPQDQ)” developed by the researcher was used for the data collection. The instrument was validated by to three experts, one in the department of Education ,one in politcal science education department, Faculty Education and one in educational measurement and evaluation. The internal consistency of the instrument was determined using Cronbach Alpha Statistic and it yielded 0.74, 0.76, and 0.78 respectively while the overall score yield 0.77. This was considered high enough for this study. The researcher, along with two research assistants administered the instrument to the respondents. Direct Delivery Technique (DDT) collection method was adopted in data collection. A total of one hundred and eighteen(118) questionnaires were distributed to students, the instruments were properly returned at 100% rate. Mean and Standard Deviation were used to answer the research questions. The findings revealed that students agreed that that to a high extent (HE) school plants are available, utilized and maintained for quality delivery of secondary school education but to low extent (LE) as regards school dormitories’ availability, utilization and maintenance for quality delivery of secondary school education in Udi Local Government Area. Based on the findings of the study, researcher recommended among others that Government should provide adequate funds for the provision and maintenance of school plants and should ensure that regular renovation of school plants are undertaken in order to prevent complete destruction of school plants. Again, students and teachers should develop good maintenance culture to ensure that school plants last longer and serve their purposes optimally for quality delivery of secondary education.
