Abstract
The rapid growth of digital media and mobile internet access has transformed how people consume news. Modern audiences expect real-time updates, easy navigation, and seamless access across various devices, which has led to a shift towards responsive web design in news website development. Responsive web design (RWD) ensures that websites dynamically adapt to diverse screen sizes, resolutions, and orientations, providing a consistent and user- friendly experience on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. This paper explores the process, principles, and technologies involved in developing a responsive news website, including mobile-first design, flexible grids, fluid images, and CSS media queries. In creating a responsive news website, developers must focus on optimizing performance, ensuring fast loading times, and accommodating various multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and interactive graphics. These components require specialized handling to prevent slowdowns on mobile networks while maintaining high-quality displays on larger screens. The use of JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as React and Angular, enables the creation of dynamic, modular news platforms that support real-time updates and user interaction.
