Impact of Production Plan in a Manufacturing Firm (a Case Study of Bua Cement Okpella, Edo State)

Abstract
The study is on “The Relevance of production plan in a manufacturing firm”. Using BUA Cement as a case study. The research study outlines the role and importance of production plan in a manufacturing firm. It also intends to analyze some of the management function and how is effective in a manufacturing firm. The research method used for data collection was mainly questionnaire administered and personal interview which are both primary sources and published materials which is secondary source. The research method of data analysis is the following analytical approaches which are Break-even analysis and chi-square method. And also data collected usually with tables, figures or any other form. Important findings were signed out and conclusion reached, the findings reveled that lack of adequate information in the organization strength and weakness are the limitation of production plan from the conclusion, finding recommendation were also made. However, the researcher hopes that if the recommendations are implemented, it will go a long way to enhance the overall objectives of the organization.
