Abstract
ABSTRACT The Pharmacy Inventory Management System addresses the critical issue of inefficient inventory management in pharmacies, which often leads to medication shortages, overstocking, and financial losses. The aim of this project was to develop a comprehensive and user-friendly software solution that optimizes inventory tracking, reduces waste, and enhances the overall efficiency of pharmacy operations. The system was developed using a combination of modern software development tools, including Visual Studio Code (VS Code). Using object-oriented methodology, the system is designed to promote modularity, reusability, and scalability, making it adaptable to various pharmacy settings, and the solution was implemented through iterative development and testing cycles. The programming languages employed in this project are HTML, CSS and JavaScript, selected for their robust libraries and frameworks that facilitate rapid development and deployment. The results indicated that the system provided better performance. The developed system showed reliability, robustness and efficiency in pharmacy inventory management. By integrating real-time data analytic, automated alerts for low stock levels, and a user-friendly interface, the Pharmacy Inventory Management System could provide pharmacies with a reliable tool to streamline their operations and improve service delivery.
