Abstract
This study investigated the effect of multi vitamins on the growth performance of broiler chickens, specifically evaluating parameters such as weight and height. Three independent two- sample t-tests were conducted to analyze the differences between broilers receiving multi vitamins and those receiving non-multi vitamins. The average weight of broilers given multi vitamins was 1.6745 kg, which ranged from 0.07kg-3.20kg. while those receiving non-multi vitamins ranged from 0.07kg-2.79kg and have the mean averaged 1.4783 kg, with a variance of 1.7607 and 1.3444, respectively. The F-value of 1.3097 resulted in a P-value of 0.3872, indicating no statistically significant difference in weight between the two groups. The vitamins ranged from 7.29cm-42.8cm and yielding an average mean of 29.1317 cm compared to 27.6433 cm for the non-combined group which ranged from 7.56cm-38.1cm. Variances were recorded at 201.286 and 155.2761, respectively. The F-value of 1.2963 and a P-value of 0.3914 suggest no significant difference in head height attributable to vitamin treatment. Finally, Table 3 reports back height, where broilers on multi vitamins ranged from 4.08cm -28.5cm with the mean averaged 19.78 cm versus 18.6183 cm for the non-multi group which ranged from 3.81-25.5cm. With an F-value of 1.2665 and a P-value of 0.4009, the results reiterate the absence of a significant impact of vitamin combination on back height. Overall, the analysis indicates that multi vitamins did not significantly enhance the growth performance of broiler chickens when comparing weight and height metrics.
