Occupational Health Issues of Scavengers in Two Municipal Solid Waste Dumpsites in Warri, Delta State

Abstract
This study evaluated the occupational health issues affecting scavengers at two municipal waste dumpsites in Warri, Delta State, with the aim of assessing the perceived and actual risk-related issues associated with scavenging at two municipal solid waste dumpsites in Warri metropolitan area in Delta State, Nigeria. A well-structured questionnaire was developed and administered to waste scavengers at the two waste dumpsites and 80% responded.
