Management Factors Influencing Academic Achievement of Secondary School Students in Ila Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria

Abstract
This research work investigated the Management Factors Influencing Academic Achievement of Secondary School Students in Ila Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria. A sample of One Hundred respondents were selected with in Ila local Government area for the study. Simple Random sampling Technique was adopted for the study. The researcher made use of descriptive survey to carry out the study. The respondents included teachers from both private and public schools. The Instrument used for data collection was Questionnaire. Fifty for the public and fifty for the private schools. Five research questions and Four research hypotheses were raised, analysed and tested for the research. The study found that there was significant relationship between human resources and students' academic achievement (Pearson Correlation Coefficient (r) =+0.162). And there was no significant relationship between financial resources and students' academic achievement of students (Pearson Correlation Coefficient (r) = +0.158). It was recommended that Schools administrators' should improve teachers working conditions by increasing their numerations and fringe benefits to motivate them for work efficiency.
