Abstract
This study focuses on developing a secure, efficient, and scalable access control and attendance management system by integrating Mobile App, keypad and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies. Traditional methods, such as mechanical locks and manual attendance registers, face significant limitations, including lost keys, unauthorized access, and inaccurate records, leading to inefficiencies and security vulnerabilities. The project involves designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating a Mobile Application Based Door Lock System that authenticates users via RFID tags/PIN and manages attendance through a mobile app-based interface. The system supports real-time monitoring and automated record-keeping, ensuring precise and reliable data management. Comprehensive testing in various real-world scenarios will be conducted to ensure the system's functionality and effectiveness. The project aims to address the growing need for advanced security solutions in settings like educational institutions, corporate offices, healthcare facilities, and residential buildings, demonstrating its versatility and potential for widespread adoption.
