Abstract

ABSTRACT This research work is focused on Online Graduate Student identity management system using Federal Polytechnic, Ukana as a case study. The research work was necessary because of the problems of the existing system which include absence of an Online Graduate Students Identity management system that can be used to register students identity information, it is time consuming to verify students identity using the existing system and reports of students identity cannot be instantly retrieved. The objectives of the are to create an automated system that can be used to register student information, to design a system that can be used to verify the identity of students and to implement a system that can provide student information reports. The significance of the study is that it will provide the institution with a system to properly manage student identity and it will benefit third party institutions and organizations that want to verify students identity. The programming technologies used are HTML, CSS, PHP and MySql.
