Decision Making and Organizational Performance in Bua Cement Company, Okpella, Edo State

Abstract
ABSTRACT This research examine Decision Making and Organizational Performance Bua Cement Company Okpella, Edo State as a case study. The major problem noted is the negative influences other factors create on decision making in the organization. 50copies of questionnaires was distributed and 40copies were duly completed and returned. Using SPSS statistical tool and correlation to test hypotheses, it states that: “Do you see any decision making problem in your organization” and “How does decision making enhance organizational performance”. In both, the alternative hypotheses were accepted after being tested with the highest positive value. According to the respondents, decision making problem is few in the organization but other factors such as Environmental, Religious and political Influence were presented as problems affecting decision making in the organization. The recommendation to this is that if decision could be made in the right way, carryout and executed in the right manner, organization could achieve effectiveness in its operation, quick and quality decision will be achieved without bias.
