Abstract
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems have been one of the most active areas of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) studies in the last two decades. The aim of this project is to effectively design and develop traffic scenarios for an advanced driving assistance system, use different auditory icons to indicate the danger and effectively convey the dangers to drivers using audio devices that indicate the direction and type of danger. In this work, we undergo simulations of different scenarios using the SUMO simulation software; three scenarios were taken into consideration, namely, detection of objects in blind spots, night vision, incoming cars, or pedestrians. Simulations were carried out to accurately detect the direction and type of danger which was conveyed using an audio device
