Abstract
As information and education continue to migrate to an online format, manual examinations are becoming an anachronism. Manual examinations systems ask candidates to work in an environment that feels artificial—without the information infrastructure that they depend on, and that they expect to use on the job meanwhile an Online examination system is a web-based examination system where examinations are given online. either through the internet or intranet using a computer system. The main goal of this online examination system is to effectively evaluate the candidate who wishes to work in the organization or thoroughly through an automated system that not only reduces the required time but also obtains fast and accurate results. It is an effective solution for a mass staff recruitment evaluation system in which many organizations can benefit. The methodology used to achieve this new system was the spiral development methodology. The system developed succeeded in delivering outstanding results mainly by greatly reducing the time taken to evaluate candidates and it makes it easier for the organization to update the questions being asked in the exam.
