Impact of Labour Union on Organizational Productivity (a Case Study of Federal Polytechnic Offa)

This is the study of the impacts of labour union on organization productivity in federal Polytechnic, Offa Kwara This study is to determine the impact of labour union on employers productivity, to determine employees level of management towards the labour unions, to identify challenges in the implementation of labour union in the organisation. This study was to both academic and non academic staffs, of federal Polytechnic Offa. Research questions and interview guide were developed and distributed to sample 341 workers, the academic staff as well as management staffs response were received from the entire sample. The labour union has positively impact on the organisation. The organisation needs to put more focused on labour unions. The organisation has to encourage insurance of employees office, office should be ventilated and illuminated. There should be orientation to new employees in other to educate them on equipment handling from time to time... The participation of labour union increases productivity in the organisation, the labour union uses collective bargaining to ask for the right of the members Labour union has a great and important role to play in the survival of any organisation. For any organization to increase its productivity in the compelling must take labour union into consideration for increase in productivity
