Abstract
This study examines human rights violations by Nigerian security forces from 2015 to 2023 and their implications for Nigeria–United States bilateral relations. Human rights are fundamental principles enshrined in international legal frameworks, yet their enforcement often conflicts with national security imperatives, particularly in conflict-ridden states like Nigeria.
