Abstract
This project focuses on the design and implementation of an Automated Online Course Allocation Management System for the Department of Business Administration and Management. The primary objective is to streamline the course allocation process, enhance efficiency, and minimize errors associated with traditional manual methods. The system comprises several key interfaces: Welcome, Login, Add Lecturer, Add Course, Allocate Course, View Lecturers, and Courses Allocated. These interfaces are designed to provide a user-friendly experience while ensuring the secure and accurate management of lecturer and course information. The Welcome Interface introduces users to the system and facilitates easy navigation. The Login Interface secures access, ensuring that only authorized personnel can manage the course allocations. The Add Lecturer and Add Course Interfaces enable administrators to efficiently update the system with new lecturers and courses, respectively. The Allocate Course Interface serves as the system's core, allowing for the effective assignment of courses to lecturers, with built-in mechanisms to avoid scheduling conflicts and overloading. The View Lecturers Interface provides an organized list of lecturers, complete with search and filter options for efficient management. Lastly, the Courses Allocated Interface offers a detailed summary of all course assignments, enhancing the monitoring and reporting capabilities of the administration. The implementation of this system demonstrates significant improvements in operational efficiency and accuracy in course allocation, contributing to a more organized and effective academic management process. This project underscores the potential of automation in educational administration and provides a model that can be adapted and implemented across various departments within the institution.
