Abstract
The most established effect of C. odorataand Azadirachtaindica is on wound healing. The constituents of the plant extracts modulate one or more of the overlapping wound healing stages. The aim of this research is to analyze the inherent phytochemical properties present in Azadirachtaindica and ChromolaenaOdorataleaves as well as to check for the potency of Azadirachtaindica and ChromolaenaOdoratato inhibit the growth of pathogens from a wound injuryvia the Disc diffusion/Sensitivity test. The process of wound healing involves four overlapping phases such as Hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation and remodeling. Extracts of the leaves and other plant parts of C. odorata have been demonstrated to be beneficial in the treatment of wounds and other disorders. For its traditional usage in wound healing, a paste of ground leaves is applied topically to the affected area. This research further proves the Antimicrobial tendencies of ChromolaenaOdorataand Azadirachtaindicaafter comprehensive analysis as shown in Agar well diffusion and Disc diffusion of the plant extracts samples.
