Abstract
This project focused on the repair and maintenance of a 5kVA inverter alongside the enhancement of its protection circuit to improve reliability and safeguard against overloads and short circuits. The repair process involved a comprehensive diagnosis of faults, replacement of damaged components, and restoration of optimal functionality. To enhance protection, a voltage protection circuit was integrated downstream of the inverter, segmented into four sections with distinct current limits. The system was configured to trip off overloaded sections, protecting the inverter and connected devices, with automatic recovery after five seconds. Extensive tests, including visual inspection, polarity checks, and continuity testing, validated the effectiveness of the repaired inverter and the enhanced protection system. The results demonstrated improved operational stability, extended lifespan of the inverter, and a significant reduction in the risk of damage due to electrical faults. This work emphasizes the importance of regular maintenance and robust protective measures in ensuring system durability and reliability.
