Abstract
This project focuses on developing a dedicated e-book system for the Computer Science Department at Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science, and Technology, addressing challenges like limited physical resources, inefficient resource sharing, and unreliable internet connectivity. Using an Agile framework, the system integrates modern technologies, including Node.js, MSSQL, and HTML/CSS, to create a scalable platform featuring real-time search, role-based access, and API integration for external resources. Testing demonstrated its effectiveness in improving resource accessibility and administrative efficiency, with users expressing high satisfaction. Despite limitations such as dependency on external APIs and scalability constraints for multi-department use, the project sets a benchmark for leveraging digital technologies to enhance learning and resource management. By providing a centralized, user-centred platform, this system transforms the educational experience and offers a replicable model for similar initiatives across institutions.
