Abstract

This project presents the development of a web-based food ordering and delivery system for JBEES Restaurant, Ugbomoro Effurun. The system was designed to modernize the restaurant's operations by providing a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly platform that allows customers to browse the menu, place orders, make payments, and track deliveries online. The motivation for this system stemmed from the challenges JBEES Restaurant faced, including manual order processing, order errors, and delayed deliveries, which impacted customer satisfaction. By automating these processes, the system enhances operational efficiency and reduces human error, ultimately improving service quality and customer experience. Key features include order tracking, secure payment integration, and an administrative dashboard for order management. The system's development followed the agile methodology, enabling iterative improvements and responsiveness to stakeholder needs. The project demonstrates the potential for digital solutions to optimize restaurant operations and enhance customer service in the food industry.
