Abstract

ABSTRACT Public Relations plays a pivotal role in shaping the reputation, image and stakeholder relationships of corporate organization. However, the dynamic nature of today’s business environment presents numerous challenges to PR practitioners. The study identifies the challenges faced by contemporary public relations practices in corporate organizations, which include financial constraints, crisis management, infrastructural limitations, language barrier and poor usage of social media. It examines how these challenges impact the effectiveness of PR practices. Using quantitative research method as research design, survey as methodology and questionnaire as instrument of data collection, the study identifies critical gaps in current PR Practices and highlights how these challenges hinder PR performance. The findings will equip PR professionals and corporate leaders with insights to adapt to evolving industry trends, enhance stakeholders’ engagement, and maintain a positive corporate reputation in a competitive and ever-changing market.
