Abstract
The main purpose of the study was to find out the level of knowledge of journalists about artificial intelligence in media practice. By examining journalists’ awareness and understanding of AI in media practice and determining the variables that impact their propensity to employ AI-driven technology, this research seeks to close this knowledge gap in Benin-city. The study concluded that a significant portion of the populace is more cognizant of artificial intelligence in media practice. Hence the researcher suggest that more follow-up study should be conducted on artificial intelligence in the media practice and that journalists should prepare to get ongoing training and retraining in AI skills acquisition so they can learn how to work with AI to get the greatest outcomes.
