Abstract
ABSTRACT The research focuses on The Influence of Mass Media on Educational Change and Development in Osun State. The specific objective of this research is to enlighten the educational systems in Nigeria through the mass media, and also, to make the students know the value of television, and to actualize the claim that day students have more access to television than boarders. The research instrument used in collecting data for this study was questionnaires and the method of data collection used is the primary source. The findings point out that a great number of students in Osun state are aware of social media and have access to various social networking sites among other beneficial findings made by the researcher. The researcher recommends that families and schools need to help children and young people realize the positive role of media and in a nutshell that Information choice by students or young people must contain in most cases an awareness of parents or teachers.
