Abstract
ABSTRACT This project focuses on the design and production of an Innovative automatic braking system(ABS) employing electric actuators and ultrasonic sensors. The ABS development is centered on modern vehicle safety, designed to detect potential collisions and automatically apply the brakes to prevent or mitigate accidents. The project was designed using Computer Aided Design(CAD)the integration of electric actuators and ultrasonic sensors, the development of control algorithms, and rigorous testing and validation procedures. During testing it was observed that the voltage had to be increased from the standard voltage so as to trip off the relay. The objective is to create an ABS that not only improves safety but also addresses environmental concerns through its efficient use of electric actuators and advanced sensor technology. The outcome of this project holds significant potential in advancing vehicle safety technology and reducing the severity of road accidents. Additionally, it contributes to the ongoing shift towards electric and autonomous vehicles, highlighting the synergy between advanced electronics and safety-critical systems in the automotive industry.
