Impact of Job Satisfaction in Enhancing Organisational Efficiency (a Case Study of Bua Cement Okpella, Edo State)

Abstract
Job satisfaction is very important in an organization. This study covers the important aspect of the work of some researcher and authors that had written concerning job satisfaction, it's important, influences and ways of improving job satisfaction in an organization. Various theories and studies have been proposed in view of explaining worker's attitude towards work. However, a large proportion of these studies have remain on the theoretical and conceptual level with little direct attempt at studying the actual satisfaction people sought for in their job. In dealing with job satisfaction there has been an important assumption that certain characteristic of the job or work situation. Despite the satisfaction or dissatisfaction that people experience in their work is a function of personality variable. In the recent year, a research work and study were conducted on one of the branches of the Guinness Nig plc, Benin city. The study examine the importance workers attach to their work, the job satisfaction variables for adequate analysis of work attitude, one initial step towards the conduct of study and administering questionnaire and other relevant research method are stated in the study. The following variables were measured, security of employment, opportunity of advancement, payment of salary, working condition, benefit and welfare services, and the nature of job itself Haven examines these variables in the research work, the finding indicated high level of job satisfaction. Generally, there were noticeable differences in satisfaction among staff just as there are differences in job value. The researcher summarize and conclude the entire study base on the information which was gathered and analyze and made recommendation on the way of improving job satisfaction and he suggests that more research should be carried out on how to improve job satisfaction and the consequences of job dissatisfaction.
