Abstract
The Graveyard Management System is a computerized solution developed to streamline the management and record-keeping processes associated with cemeteries and burial grounds. Traditional methods of maintaining graveyard records are often paper-based, prone to errors, time-consuming, and inefficient in terms of data retrieval and updates. This project addresses these challenges by providing an automated system that ensures accuracy, security, and accessibility of graveyard information. The system offers core functionalities such as digital registration of graves, allocation of burial plots, maintenance of deceased records, and efficient searching and retrieval of information by name, date, or plot number. It also supports record updates, monitoring of available spaces, and generation of administrative reports. With its user-friendly interface and secure data management, the system reduces administrative workload while enhancing transparency and accountability in graveyard management. In conclusion, the Graveyard Management System modernizes cemetery operations by ensuring reliable data storage and enabling quick decision-making processes. It not only preserves historical records but also provides a scalable platform adaptable for municipal councils, religious organizations, and private cemetery operators.
