Abstract
ABSTRACT 28.34±0.28mg/kg,ashcontent2.11±0.11mg/kg,crudefat6.58±0.33mg/kg, mg/kg,carbohydrate80.77±1.01mg/kg,caloricvalues440.86±4.11.The Theresultoftheanalysisrevealsthatthetwosamplescontainedallthe compositions.TheproximatecompositionofMusaanamaluandMusa acuminatawascarriedoutusingstandardanalyticalprocedure,AOAC parametersthoughindifferentconcentrations.Musaanamaluwasrichin revealedthatthetwosamplecontainedtheentireanalyzedproximate analyzedproximatecompositionsthoughindifferentconcentration.The Moisturecontent24.44±0.31mg/kg,ashcontent2.51±0.10mg/kg,crudefat 85.71±0.72mg/kg,caloricvalues412.61±1.63andMusaacuminata: moisture,fibreandcarbohydratewhileMusaacuminatawasrichash,fat, crudeprotein2.55±0.30mg/kg,crudefiber3.06±0.02mg/kg,carbohydrate 11.60±0.07mg/kg,crudeprotein3.35±0.13mg/kg,crudefiber2.78±0.04 (2010).Theresultwereasfollows;Musaanamalu:Moisturecontent proteinandcaloricvalue.Hence,thetwoplantssamplesarehighly analysis of the proximate composition of Musa anamalu and Musa acuminata resultsoftheanalysisrevealthatthetwosamplescontainedalltheanalyzed recommendedforhumanconsumptionbecauseofitsnutritionalcontent.
