Employees' Reward System and Staff Performance in Organizations (a Case Study of First Bank Plc Auchi)

Abstract
This study examined employee’s reward system and staff performance in organizations: A study of First Bank Plc, Auchi. The main objective of the study was to examine the relationship between reward system and employees’ performance in an organization. The major instrument used in the gathering data for this study is the questionnaire. The population of the study comprises of 40 respondents which include management and members of staff in the organization. A sample size of 30 respondents was used for the study. The sampling technique employed in this study is the simple random sampling technique. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentage method while the formulated hypotheses were tested using chi-square statistical tool of data analysis. The findings from the study reveal that there is a significant relationship between reward system and employees’ performance in an organization, and that there is a relationship between working conditions and employees’ performance.
