Abstract
The Task Management System is a complete system aimed at simplifying the management of academic tasks for students, lecturers, and administrators in any educational institution. This system is very user-friendly and designed to provide all the processes that a student will need to access, complete, and submit the tasks while at the same time allowing the lecturer to monitor the tasks, control the modules, and check on the student’s activities. The administrator's activities are usually overseen in the system; the administrator takes care of the system's users and maintains its regular functioning. The system is user-centric by designing and incorporating features such as task assignee and organizer, reminders and notification systems, and administrative functionalities with the aim of improving communication and order. It is built on clearly defined hardware and software specifications ensuring security, better performance, scalability, and flexibility to cater to the changing demands of the users hence a better way of addressing issues of academic task management.
