Abstract
This project examines Nigerian federalism and the compelling need for political restructuring. It analyzes the historical development, current challenges, and inefficiencies of the existing federal structure, particularly focusing on power devolution, resource control, and fiscal imbalances. The abstract argues that meaningful political restructuring is crucial for fostering equity, stability, and sustainable development by addressing ethnic tensions and promoting inclusive governance across the diverse Nigerian federation.
