Effect of Immunebooster on Gastric Inflammatory Markers in Lead Exposed Male Wistar Rat

Abstract
Lead exposure is known to induce oxidative stress and gastric inflammation, leading to significant tissue damage. This study investigates the effect of an immune booster on gastric inflammatory markers in lead-exposed male Wistar rats. Twenty-four rats were divided into control, lead-exposed, immune booster-treated, and lead + immune booster groups. Lead acetate was administered to induce toxicity, while the immune booster was given to evaluate its protective potential. Biochemical analysis of gastric tissues revealed that lead exposure significantly increased inflammatory markers, whereas treatment with the immune booster markedly reduced these levels and improved histological integrity. The findings suggest that the immune booster possesses anti-inflammatory and protective effects against lead-induced gastric injury.
